File Prep

We can accept files done in most versions of the Adobe Creative Suite CS5 and below (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Illustrator), Publisher, Pagemaker, and Microsoft Word.

Although we can accept the raw files from the programs noted above we prefer "Press Ready" PDF files. The "Press Ready" format prepares the files best for our machines. PDFx-1a is also acceptable. Please make sure bleeds are included (.125") in the PDF too, if you have them in your file.

Please keep images at high resolution (300 dpi +), if available, for best results at their full intended size. JPG or TIFF formats are best.

You can email us the files directly through our website, via (a free service, you simply put our email address as the recipient []), or through an FTP site (send us the information and filename so we can retrieve it). You are also welcome to drop off or mail a CD or jump drive if you prefer.

Files should be in CMYK but we are happy to convert files if you are unsure how to do it or unable. By having the color mode in CMYK while the files are still in your possession, you are able to notice possible color shifts and adjust accordingly.

ALL NECESSARY ELEMENTS (fonts, images, etc.)
There are many ways to create files (especially PDF files) so we ask that you make sure fonts and images are linked and included/embedded correctly. If you are unsure if they saved correctly within the PDF you are welcome to send the fonts used (please note if they are PC or Mac) and all images separately. If EPS files are being used please convert all fonts to outlines.

Once your files are received we will let you know as soon as possible if there are any technical issues so as to keep the job in queue and on schedule.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any file preparation questions you might have before uploading your file.
